Quilting Artistry is a celebration of Quilting! I hope to impart a sense of home and comfort to you whether you stop by once, or come by often for some inspiration! Be sure to check out Nalasa Designs. The site I am developing with my daughters!

I am a Quilt Designer who began my artistic journey a few years ago. I always enjoyed design and crafting, but beginning in 2004, I took it to a whole new level exploring the Quilt World. I currently design all of my quilts, and hope to utilize new methods in the process.

I  began quilting in 2004, and have found it to be a great outlet to explore my creativity. As part of this exploration of my creativity, I am developing a Blog to follow the process that exploring a new art form can provide to you. I trained and worked as a CPA in the United States. I always enjoyed artistic and creative endeavors and I am utilizing this as an opportunity to develop that part of my life.

I recently moved with my husband and my youngest daughter to San Francisco, California. Despite the cold, and the grey skies, I loved my old life in Moscow, Russia because of quilting and the great friends that I met. I have moved often, and have always found that no matter where you live, your happiness is dependent on the friends you make.  You never know where life may lead you, as I never thought I would learn quilting in Moscow, Russia.

I joined the quilting group for fun and camaraderie, and as a result, met and learned from a great teacher and quilter, Robin Stillwell from Butte, Montana. She was on a one year tour of Moscow with her husband and children. Currently, I am a member of a quilt guild in San Francisco, and will see what the U.S.A. quilting world has in store for me.
